Party Time 4 Strings is our yearly get-together for string pupils in their first year of learning – celebrating the progress they have made in their lessons and having a fun time with pieces, songs and activities!
Pupils of violin, viola, cello and double bass coming from schools across the city are invited by their instrumental teachers to come and take part in this exciting morning of music making. Working as a huge string orchestra, they will learn some new pieces and entertaining songs to perform together to parents at 11.40 am.
String pupils will need to bring their instruments (all music is provided on the day), a drink & snack for the break, and lots of energy for the fun-filled morning! Break time activities include a monster musical word search and an interesting instrument illustration competition.
Start time is 9.30 am
Perform to Parents is at 11.40 am
Finish time is 12.00 midday
