The Albemarle Clarinet Quartet

Formed in September 2016 they rehearse weekly at the Albemarle Music Centre, home of the Hull Music Service. Performance venues have included a Victorian Conservatory, (with iguanas in residence), as part of a Heritage Lottery event, and local shopping centres as part of 2017 Albemarle Saturdays, taking live music into the community. Repertoire ranges from Respighi to Richie (Lionel)!
They appear at local music festivals and won their category at the Hull Music Festival. The quartet enjoyed appearing for the Hull Music Recital Club and were pleased to participate in the 2017 Holocaust Memorial Service in January. Other engagements include playing as "Local Heroes" in a Year of Culture series of concerts in Hull, a charity concert in aide of Unicef and as part of a summer fete at a local rest home. They are VERY excited to be taking part in the Birmingham Festival of Music for Youth!
