Around 2,500 children from 43 schools took part in this year’s Hull Music Hub Summer Festival at Connexin Live Arena, with two fantastic performances—one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Children came together to sing, warm up, and play their instruments with a live band on stage. There were trumpets, trombones, horns, pbuzzes, pbones, clarinets, recorders, violins, cellos, glockenspiels and more—it was a real celebration of music-making.
Families in the audience got to see their children on the big screen, and we were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Hull to join in the occasion.
A crowd favourite was ‘Power in the Music’, which brought the performances to life.
Thank you to all the children, their families, and the teachers for making the day such a success.
