Learning a musical instrument is a fantastic hobby. You'll learn to play a wide variety of music and have the chance to join a band, ensemble or orchestra as you progress. Getting involved in music at school and at the Albemarle Music Centre is a great way to make friends and opens up lots of opportunities to take part in concerts and projects. Most of our teaching is done at your school, so speak to them first about what instruments might be available at your school.
So if you want to get involved you'll be in good company, with nearly 8,000 children and young people across the city involved with our provision in some way or other!
